WADHURST SUMMER MUSIC FESTIVAL

The room was hot and steamy - more like New Orleans than Wadhurst but the music was cool enough for it to have been The French Quarter of that southern city. The band for Jazzmatazz was superb and Ansy's voice took on a  mellow tone as she sang a selection of Jazz standards.

 

Those in the upstairs room at the Greyhound were entranced by the quality of the musicians who worked so hard to entertain that they were in serious need of refreshment during the interval - how lovely to be able to chat with the performers in the garden before the next half. All to soon it was over and I, for one, will make a plea for more next year.                                                                                   PF
